Shed the Meds

Don't forget, this Sunday, rain or shine, residents can drive up and can safely dispose of their expired or unneeded medications at my "Shed the Meds" program held in partnership with the Carey Dad's Club, Nassau County Police, and Sanitation District #6. From 1-3 PM please drive by Sanitation #6 facility parking lot at 80 Cherry Valley Avenue, West Hempstead. (Just one block north of Hempstead Turnpike by Stop & Shop)

Officers were conducting Project 21/18 targeting the sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products to minors. The defendant while working at the above business, did sell one 12 pack of Heineken beer to an under cover Police agent. The defendant was placed under arrest.

The above listed substance is a tobacco product also known as K2 Spice and Synthetic Marihuana. The defendant was placed under arrest.

Vice Squad working with the POP office conducted an investigation into listed business. An undercover detective did receive an unlicensed massage from arrestee.

PROHBITED SALE ALCOHOLIC BEV

In response to community complaints, PEP /POP officers conducted a Project 21 detail targeting the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors. Listed defendants did sell alcoholic beverages to underage police agents without asking for identification. During the detail, a total of seven businesses were inspected with four arrests effected.

In response to community complaints, POP Office conducted a Project 21 Operation where arrestee did sell alcohol to an under-aged agent without asking for proper identification.

Pop office along with Vice Squad conducted an investigation relating to illegal massage and prostitution in Franklin Square. In addition , three summonses were issued by the TOH building department.
